Is there anyone other than Suckling really worth considering at D5?
I am not 100% completely sold on Suckers yet and was hoping the community might help me Identify some other sub 300K players who can generate some cash while plugging that D5 hole, i already have McDonald at D6 and don't like laidler.
So other than KK and Rhyce Shaw who would you suggest and why?

Your advice is greatly appreciated.  :)

Vinny

Neither am I to be honest but for what he can potentially do I'm picking him, 312k is just too cheap.

I'm not over the moon myself too, but he picks himself

Has potential to average to 80-90, and that, coupled with his JS and price is why we all have him

Only other real options sub 300k would be Shaw and Griffith at 230k is worth a look at

Docherty maybe... Suckling is proven however and should get over 400k at least. Suckling is the best pick of the price range.

Bully

Reece Shaw would be the other alternative. He's also bye friendly.

Docherty injured, so not an option to start with

Griffiths is a possibility if Maric is out for a while as he should take some rucking duties as well. Could be a good cow but Suckling is a good chance as keeper with what he can average. There is a St Kilda player too i have an eye on but not sure yet :P

Have had him a couple of years one was good one not so good , if only it was like last year with all those cheap and rookie backs that killed it but it's not so until something better turns up Suckling it is

No, Drafted in 2011

Let me add he would only be good for cash cow and i would pick suckling money permitting

RaisyDaisy

Be intersesting to see who takes Dal Santo's role

eaglesman

been saying all preseason that this bloke is still an iffy pick ... i am more worried about playing him than I am starting 2 forward rookies (kersten and JKH).. definitely is my most worried position  .. has the ability but also has the ability to be totally removed from games

atm I am purely picking him because everyone will pick him and not willing to take the risk on anyone else at that price

I think Griffiths could be an option if he looks a regular 22 player ... considered langford over him if regular 22 also

Smokie.
Elliot Yeo .... this bloke will be a sensation for west coast off our half back line with some run and dash ... will be a regular in our side and is loved by the coach ... the issue is whether this all converts to sc scoring
Is a big watch for me in the next nab game.
Might not be a player you start with but if he goes alright early may be a player we pick up on the bubble ... nevertheless he may not be relevant at all but worthy for a watch
