Def: Mcveigh, Mitchell, Hibberd, Suckling, McDonald, Fuller (Georgiou, Langdon)

Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Watson, Cotchin, Beams, Michie, Polec, Ellis (Dunstan, Hallahan)

Ruck: Mcevoy, Sandilands (Thurlow, Nankervis)

Forwards: Dangerfield, Martin, Wingard, Buddy, Garlett, Kennedy-Harris (Taylor, Impey)

12k leftover, not so sure about my backline and midfield quite happy with the rest. Please give it a rate, some advice and pick it apart!

Hi Jeremy

Backline is too weak - cant start with Fuller on field at this stage

Same can be said about Garlett up forward, very unlikely he will get a game anytime soon. Keep an eye on Kersten and McCarthy from Geelong, especially with Vardy going down yesterday

Mid is pretty standard, nothing wrong with that :)

Obviously rookies will change, but I am pretty sure Georgiou is still rookie listed, and Lewis Taylor wont be right for rd1, I believe he has a minor injury

Reckon  this is pretty solid, I'd say back line is not too bad.
- georgiou still needs to be promoted before he can play, keep an eye on that.
- Who is hallahan and why have you picked him?
- Mcevoy will be good at hawks but unlikely to be top 4 ruck at end of year so you will waste a trade there.
- I'm not sold on Wingard, certainly don't think you'll gain any money there, and if you really want him you'll be able to get him much cheaper at some stage.

Just my thoughts, all the best with it.

Would appreciate your thoughts:

Been flying for the Hawks this preseason and is a strong chance to get games, although JS for any rookie hawk will always be dodgy

Defense is strong- POD in Hibberd. Watch rookies closely- Think Georgiou will be promoted from the rookie list and used early as Melbourne have a lot of injuries to their talls.

Mid: GAJ, Pendles, Cotch, Beams all have the round 8 bye- one needs to go for balance- rookies all good choices- Hallahan (in a 3 way tie for the JJ Liston trophy in the VFL last year) has shown a fair bit in the 2 NAB matches  for Hawthorn and must be in calculations for round one.

Ruck: Better options than McEvoy.

Fwd: Strong here. look to upgrade Taylor to Rohan/Fasolo/Lamb etc.
