Watson is he worth the gig I have 620K available for my mid 3 and im looking at Watson as he has an easyish run and is cheap for what he can do

You know what your going to get with Jobe. Good for 110-120 avg, and I think his price represents value

There's been several threads about the guys priced in the 550-600k range, and a case can be made for every one of them

There is no correct answer, just go with who you think will do the best for you

Watson is a lock at M3 for me.

If you take out his injury game last year, it bumps his average up to around 116, so he's about 20-30k cheaper than what he should be.

He also has the potential to get his average back up to 120, and could easily be a top 3 mid by the end of the year.

Worst case I can't see him averaging anything lower than 115, meaning his upside is about as good as it gets.

Throw in a good bye round and you have the perfect third mid after Ablett and Pendlebury.

Swans mids are like North mids in that its hard to pick a winner...JPK the front runner,so it's all about Watson

Essendons draw leading up to their bye isn't all that easy imo,won't bother Jobe though.

Yes Griffen or Libba is looking like an attractive prospect these season either is great cover for R8 & R10 byes

Had jobe locked in at m2 all preseason and hasn't come out of my drafts once.
I like seeing his name on the team sheet.
With what happened last season, to show that kind of courage and consistently churn out big scores is impressive.
I honestly think the essendon saga contributed about -5ppg to his average.
Should b a top 5 mid.
Plus he is a top bloke

People running with GAZ and Pendles will probably have to go with 2 500k ish mids and a 350k ish player i reckon.
Gaz,Pendles,Murphy,Beams,Daisy/Savage is probably a pretty popular combo as it gets very hard to squeeze in 2 575k+ players after them and not lack in other areas.

I have absolutely no interest in Murphy but daizy was tempting.
I don't see daizy as a keeper. I figure ill save a trade down the track which is worth 100k.
Cotch is in 10% of midfields which I love. Round 8 bye will keep him nice and unique.
Rocky jobe and beams pick themselves IMO so I had to decide between Gaz and pendles

I have suckling at d5.
