Not considering Darling ever, will always be a KPP.

Wright is a maybe if he can dominate another NAB cup game, would probably need one of Gunston/Zorko/Caddy to fail or Danger/Dusty/Buddy to get injured.

So all KPP's aren't ever fantasy relevant?

no but he's always played kpp and he's never gunned it. just hasn't got the speed or reactions to play in the guts while eagles make guys like Ellis sit on the bench

He's also 21 years of age and has a good 5-6 years development before he hits his prime... Will be a premier fwd in the game one day. Bet you will have him then.

I'm seriously considering Darling. One day he will make a move through the mids and he certainly imposed himself against Freo in the NAB game. He should score well early on with WCE's nice draw as well

everyone imposed themselves against Freo that day to be fair. I think he's too big a risk personally. I don't think the Bulldogs or Melbourne are going to be as big a pushover as they might have been previously, so I think relying on their good draw to justify picking him above others suggests that you should be looking elsewhere. No doubt his output will improve....but not enough IMO.

Who do you think around that price range will do better, or are you just staying away from that mid price range all together?  Interested to know because my list of guys in that bracket are:

Darling - Worth it for maybe only the first 5 rounds (if it was limited trades then I wouldn't take the risk)
Gunston - Always been a gun but lived in the shadow of Buddy and Roughy (will have some big ones, but also might put up a stinker...so does Buddy though)
Dahlhaus - Soft draw this year and looks like he might play up the ground a bit more
Elliott - Can have big ones, but also can be unsited (too up and down)
Caddy - Not sold with Geelong's tough run, although with all the other Geelong guns being tagged could let him roam free for the whole season!
Chapman - Gonna go bang till his hammies go bang, just depends if you want to burn a trade on a guy that is 100% going to miss games.
I have Caddy at the moment.....but not sold on any mid price forward at the moment to be honest.

if you're calling Gunston and Chappy midpricers, then surely you'd throw the likes of Robbo, Pav and Zorko in there

truBLUE

Would Rather Darling , Wright loves to tear up nab and then goes Walkabout due to other roles  ::)

You're right, but I was talking about mid pricers I'm looking at personally...Pav might join the group depending on his next few NAB performances.

Im seriously considering Wright, with Vince going to Melbourne and Van Berlo injured i think he will play alot of mid time. Havent seen B.Crouch either this pre-season ?

His 2 Nab games scores are 139 and 111 playing in the midfield, BOG in both games for Adelaide. Plenty of time to change my mind tho  ;D
