Really is going to come down the role he plays this year, but if he puts in another strong effort he will be hard to ignore

With that being said though, what do you feel he would need to average to justify the outlay? And can he reach that avg?

We know that when let off the chain Shiels is capable of averaging 95+, he's proven that in the past, the problem is come season proper he has been used in a tagging role for the last 2 years, so I would want to make sure that he is free from those duties if i where to pick him. What did interest me was that Langford played a defensive role on Ziebel, who didn't go near the ball, and still had a good game himself. If they brought Langford into the team to fill that role and let Shiels off the chain it would be great news for the both of them

Agree Shiels is now on my watch list..but i want to hear Clarko talk about this situation,Langford looks a beaut as a cheap back.
