Koop or Daz just need to place a 1.1m-ish bid and KB can't afford Treloar.

Edit: Didn't realise KB had 2m+. Honestly reckon Koop (who has the most money) could easily spend 2m on Treloar (slight overs) and be fine.

hey ossie quick question

when all these bids being placed each coach would need to make sure they do not goi over there cap correct?
i.e say i bid for 6 players at 1 mil each and ofc i do not have that sort of money left

(now that doesn't mean i will win all 6)

but my point is if i have bid out my cap already even if bids have not finished i cannot keep bidding just to raise prices when i actually do not have that money can i? (reckon this is going to be the hardest part to keep an eye on as some try to jack upprices which is fair enough but with all the bids going on etc could be confusing)

Ringo

Was wondering the same Oss as i see a couple of coaches already if there were no more bids would be above Salary Cap.

Know it is hard to police but surely you should not be able to bid money for players that you do not have in your Salary Cap. It may be a tactic on some  to force prices up but it should not be allowed if they do not have the cash available.

Nige

Yeah, I agree too.

I don't like the idea of being able to place bids if you actually don't have the money (even if you expect to be outbid).

kilbluff1985

i been keeping track of my salary cap not sure about others

Ringo

Are you sure KB

According to my records at the moment you have bids for 7 players:

Ball    100K
Beams   700K
Treloar   850K
Mumford   300K
Parker   350K
Nathan Jones   400K
Vince   100k

Total $2.8m and according to team threads you only have $$2.46m available in Salary Cap.

Nrich is also close to Salary Cap bidding for 5 plyers but needing 6 to complete list.

well Mumford got outbid so yeah i might 40k over accidentally

It's Carte Blanche. Os made that clear.

Ossie can't afford Gibbs atm (assuming his bid is still there) either.

I just assume the earlier bids you have are the ones that are first preference and goes through first at deadline.

Then so on and if you can't afford the next player (no of players left * $100k) it defaults back to the previous bidder or if there is none is cancelled.

Ringo

Fair enough had not updated the latest Mumford bid but that takes you back to requiring another player but you are still over cap.

kilbluff1985

so can i just delete my 400k bid on Nathan Jones which is my most recent? seems the fairest thing for all to do

HintT

Why? You make the bid, you take the risk. Why are you bidding on players you don't want in that case?
