That is the strategy some coaches have adopted with retaining cash for players they have identified not in Top 60.  Doing a bit of research is what was needed and the rules were set so why change it now and penalise those that have strategised this way.
eg I know player X is not in the Top 60, I now the clube he plays for so I just have to decide when to lodge the bid.  For the record I have a list of 10 players to bid on to finalise my team.

That strategy of holding more money over for now is 0% affected on whether there's a limit (cap) per team thread or not. Zero.

I don't think it will be changed, or that it's too late to do so now but just voicing my opinions on it.

There's no sane way things should be over on the first night (eg all 60 players in teams) so there's no reason to not cap because we're going to be running over several days anyway. A cap would at least mean that team threads don't get clogged up and you're not hamstrung if you can't make Thursday.

I'm happy Nige as are others just supporting the rules. 

I am concerned that people do noit really grasp what is happening after todays bidding closes. Think they are still unaware that all remaining players can be bid for in the 6 threads Oss has created and when to come in will be the strategy.

Clearly you don't have an actual reason.

Having money left over to try and out-bid others is not impacted whether there is 10, 30 or 60 players live on a single day.
