I thought it was basically anyone outside the top 60.

You nominate someone and that starts the bidding. Goes on til everyone has a full team. Makes more sense to me like that.

You can bid on anyone. Multiple players going at once. And we keep bidding until everyone has a full squad of 10.

Correct me if I am wrong with these 60 players but based on what you are saying and this is purely theoretical.  I could have my eye on player x and then if all teams are filled and player X has not been picked I would then get player X with a bid of $100k for my 10th player.

Since we have two bidding threads running at the same time, would it be possible for each thread to contain the name of the player currently being auctioned? Could help convenience coaches a little more.

yup, of course if you don't bid on player X early enough you risk someone else taking him for $100k

11 rounds played over AFL Rounds 7, 11 to 20

The top 4 play off in finals after that.

Round 21: 1st v 2nd, 3rd v 4th
Round 22: Loser 1st v 2nd v Winner 3rd v 4th
Round 23: Winner 1st v 2nd v Winner Round 21
