It's an application process, so if people who aren't in WXVs apply, I'm sure there is a good chance Oss will strongly consider their applications.

I'm all for new people joining the XVs community, but at the same time, if those who are already coaches wish to apply, I don't think we should stop them.

and as you pointed out Oss is more of a 20/20version making it a bit easier and quicker for me to keep control of

Maybe, but will see how it goes... Will combine it with WXV for now, and if it catches on....

Just a question here

How do you see the auction working - Will we all have to be on line or will it be a closed auction.

My thoughts are have each franchise put in bids on 7 players for the best 50 players (extra 2 possibly to allow double ups). Succesful bidder will pay 5% more than 2nd highest bidder.  This means you may not pay the full price preserving some of your cap.

If teams do not secure their 5 players have supplementary auction for those franchises.

Similar process for next 5.

You may have other ideas and that is fine.

I feel the auctions should be sorta live as that is pretty much how they work anyway.

Not sure how Oss plans to do it as you said though, if he could elaborate that'd be great.  :)
