After the first round of nab challenge, i have landed on a structure and team which I think i like. And with plenty of cash to spare too...

Def: Mitchell (D/M), Hanley (D/M), Hurn, J.Grimes (D/M), Suckling, L.McDonald (D/M), (Fuller, Georgiou)

Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Rockliff, D.Beams, Savage, Polec, Michie, Ellis, (Dunstan, M.Crouch)

Ruck: Lobbe, Sandilands, (F.Thurlow (R/F), Derickz)

Fwd: Dangerfield (M/F), Wingard (M/F), Franklin, Caddy (M/F), Higgins, Rohan, (Kerstan, JKH)

Bank: $93,600

Rate away please?

Hurn?, Grimes?? and HIGGINS (Mr Soft Tissue Injury 4 years running)

You have lots of DPPs at each end, but none in the middle.  I think you need to either move a couple into the mids or find some more DPPs to side in your mid field.

My 2 cents.  Hope it helps.

Please rate my team:

Higgins is only in my team to make some quickish cash. Hoping he will play til his bye, avg around 75-90, and make me $100-150k while scoring well above his price.

With all of the midfielders drafted by Roos, i think Grimes will move back to his old role of being the general of the defense with occasional midfield runs, and get back up to a 90~ avg.

It is hard to tell what Roos with do at Melbourne.  One thing for sure is he will mix it up a bit.  He will prob also blood rookies for a couple of games (Like Laidley did a few years ago - gave them 2 games and rested them for about 10 rounds so they never went up in value - grrrrr).

What am I saying - you could be right about Grimes ....  or not???

I disagree with maygs on one thing- don't need to start with DPP's in the midfield- pick the best Midfield Guns and Rookies available to start the year and then trade later in the season to get the DPP's in by the end of the year to mitigate trades.

Anyway your side,

Def: Solid- couple of potential POD's in Hurn and Grimes. Would it be better to pick Swallow over Grimes at a similar price? 8/10

Mid: Strong here- would prefer Daisy over Savage if a mid-pricer is chosen here- 8/10

Rucks: Tick here 9/10

Fwd: Risk to start Caddy and Higgins here- Caddy will IMO be a burnman this year and I'd never pick Higgins again- downgrade Higgins and upgrade Caddy to a premo- 6/10

A couple of changes needed but solid side: 31/40
