Pretty interesting one

i really think Tom Mitchell may average more

not just because of the GWS game but he just racks up the possessions and is a good shot at goal

Parker is probably a safer bet but i can easily see Mitchell averaging more

could have both but i have Rohan locked in also don't want all 3 in starting team

Tom Mitchell is a gun and I love the way he goes about his footy but the second year blues mean that I won't be picking him this year. I know he is a little bit older than the usual AFL player that is entering his second year of AFL footy but the same could be said about players such as Zorko and we all know what happened there.

Parker is a great player too but with all the talent running through the Sydney midfield I can't see him averaging enough to be a forward line keeper and he is too expensive to be a stepping stone.

Mitchell in a heart beat.
The kid is made for contested and that's where the SC points are. Him and Libba are very similar players just Mitchell can hurt opposition teams more on the scoreboard.

For me: Neither
For SC risk takers: Parker
For SC Draft: Titch

I won't have either. But I'm surprised by the poll. I'd certainly go Parker. He is ready to burn this year, absolutely primed to have a second mini break out and really step up into the 100's I think he will average high 90's however.

Bully

Both for me, Franklin will probably be axed.

Don't forget the power of lurkers who say nothing but will vote in polls and just watch Titchel get an omg totes meaningful 152 in NAB cup, he's basically going to average 200 for the year after that. SC's first $1,000,000 player. You heard it here first.

 ;D ;D
Mitchell by a long shot, has the potential to really cut loose and if ever you were going to nominate a player to blow the second year blues out of the water it would be him. Almost talked myself in to taking him over Rioli, who I think will explode this season. Cheers mate    ;) ;)

The poll is an indication of people getting over excited about one NAB game.
Zorko smashed NAB CUP last year..that turned out well.

i don't agree

the question is who will average more very good chance Mitchell will

Ricochet

I still think that come round 1 Mitchell will spend much more time fwd than in the middle like at the end of last year. I'm staying away

Yeh I guess its a natural reaction after he dominates the night prior. But there is a good chance Mitchell may outscore him, but if he does it'll be only by a couple of PPG. Parker is the far more safer option for a better average.

eaglesman

i think both are very fantasy relevant in sc ... averaging more i will go mitchell

I currently have Mitchell as F3 and that was before he played last night

Kid is a gun and could easily be the exemption to the second year blues rule

I am one of the few at this stage who is leaving Dusty out and going with Mitchell. Priced at a 85 avg he can easily push 95-105 and be a top 6-10 fwd so I'm banking the 85k over Dusty as cant see him really improving on his avg

I'm backing him in, worst case scenario I sideways to Parker/Gunston etc. or upgrade to Dusty if he does in fact improve
