Thoughts as a Pod will richmond play a r2?

Southstorm

There are better rucks out there than Maric and he won't go back to his 2012 form. What you saw in 2013 is what you'll get this year as well.

Nige

Even as a Tigers fan, I'm not sure whether he'll get back to his 2012 form.

That said, if you're looking for a POD ruck, you could do a lot worse.

Shaun Hampson will play a bit, so that could affect Ivvy's scoring.

got 541 k confused about which R1 i should select

Bully

Hampson will be given a fair bit of time in the ruck this year, I'm guessing 40%, so that will impact upon Ivan unless he starts kicking bags of goals. Too much uncertainty for mine.

Sabretooth Tigers

 :) :)
How about Nicnat  ??  He only has to be fit ( the only reservation ) to be No.1 ruckman. Cheers mate   ;)

Grazz

I reckon Maric will improve on last year. Carried an injury for a fair chunk of last season. If fit he will be better but wether he can get back to 2012 form, im not sure should be able to get close if fit and healthy.

I'd go either NicNat or Leuenberger, or if you can generate an extra 80k from somewhere, one of Goldy/Minson

He and Hampson will share the ruck duties with the other pushing forward. If anything Hampson will play more in the ruck as he is quite an effective tap ruckman, while Maric is handy up forward, so Ivan will see a bit of time up forward this season I reckon

+1 this, everybody seems to underestimate Hampson as a ruckman. I'm not sure what this will do to Maric's scores, but probably best to stay away until you see how both play together in the same team.

Ricochet

At his price he is too much of a risk to start with imo. Better off looking at someone like NicNat

+1 I'd much rather Nic Nat over Maric (if Nic Nat is fit).

bowyanger

nic nat isnt fit if he cannot play a club practice match or NAB surely

Have you peeps watched Hampson play? He is terribubble at everything else besides tap work - he may play a few games but unless he has learnt to kick over the pre season I couldnt see him doing anything of concern to Maric's scoring besides a bit of a rest up forward...surely Maric can punch that out most games with the expected improvement in Richmond bombing into the fwd line more often.

20 HO + 1 or 2 goals = big score
