That's good news, I wasn't sure if he would be ok for round one. Seriously considering a Sandi and HMac combo  :-\.

Yep, same. If they both line up round 1 that's how I'll go I think. Sandi is a lock regardless, but it's near impossible to pick the perfect R1.

Not impossible, just pick NicNat ;)

Wondering how well he'll go after two years on the couch. Might be Mumford-esque

True if u want the highest AVERAGE but what about the highest overall POINTS - how many games this season? Everyone gets so excited every year and then down he goes. How long before he attains burnman status?

HMac is great news for him and the Cats but I can't pick him AND Sandilands AND Dixon.

Who knows how Chris Scott will manage Simpson + HMac? They WILL be both managed.

Going into his 9th game in 4 years i really feel he is entering the ''breakout'' zone which most guys hit somewhere between 5-10 games..this bloke will have ONE HELL OF A CAREER!!! all aboard the pain train TOOT TOOT

He's only had one injury prone year  :-\
debut year 2009 10 games
2010 22
2011 20
2012 20
2013 11
Is actually more durable than injury prone so far in his career

Do you think they will manage/ease him back in to stop a groin issue reoccurring ?

I think that's basically what they have been doing already so he is ready for round 1.

Thinking about a Sandi + HMac + Hickey combo... thoughts?

I think most people would suggest instead that you have a R/F in your forward line like Dixon, and a R/F like Thurlow on the ruck bench, use the DPP as injury cover. However the upside I can see of going with all 3 of HMac, Sandi and Hickey is that they could all potentially make you money, which I don't see someone like Dixon achieving. But it's a bit of a risk and a lot of money to have on the bench, you could spend a similar amount by having Lobbe Sandi and Nankervis I would think...

Exactly what I'm thinking mate. Atm I have that spare cash so I'm considering this as an option. That way I'm generating more cash rather than it just sitting there.

If your worried bout Dixon....ya could have a go with Majak as a mid priced forward option, supposedly killing pre-season according to Scott and has the potential to make decent coin
