Not necessarily a rest but think Pavlich will get his traditional old man injury.. Cautious on this one

tor01doc

He is the sort of value for money consistent premium that will score points as he makes money. His low risk 'break out' kind of status means you are likely to save a trade compared to say a Dixon, D Swallow, Zorko, Hale kind of player so high chance of win-win with Pav.

If he merely treads water, you won't actually lose much.

If he fails miserably then I will give up.

Great chance of grabbing a relatively cheap keeper - a bit like D Beams in mids IMO.

Lock lock.

Starting to find a lot to like about the Pav, and you make some great points as usual Doc. Was just looking at some interesting figures. When I was looking at the % of coaches that had each player last week the Buddy was in 37.% of all teams. As of now he is in 23.14 %.  If this progression keeps up he could end up an almost POD. Just had another look at my new team and hate it, it conforms. But not for long, where is that bloody " clear "  button ? Gotta rearrange it for  200k  plus spare and a higher point generation  and bugger all conformity. Cheers guys.   :'(

agreed, reading reports saying he's killed the preseason and had an OK NAB, 75 off 86% TOG against the doggies and 53 off 41% TOG against WCE.

very promising i say.

Absolutely locked in my team

At his price, you cant lose money and his every chance to push for a 100 average

Currently priced at an 80ppg

To put that into context, it's about the same as Gunston... who's not a proven SC scorer

If Pav can average 90ppg he'll make about 50K and 100k if he hits the 100 mark.

That said, age is a factor and knowing how Ross likes to rest players in the lead up to finals, it's unlikely he'll be a keeper

You seriously think he isn't a keeper because he may be rested in the last couple of games... I think you have rocks in your head! Any team that is safely in the 8 will be resting players may as well just make a team with players from teams you don't think Will make the 8. That way you know none of your players will get rested!

I'll probably start with him. But will likely bunt him before season's end.

I'm not saying teams safely in the 8 won't rest players in the lead up to finals, but this is much more likely to happen to Pav. You've got rocks in your head if you think otherwise. Enjoy copping a donut in your SC finals if you're not willing to trade him out later in the season.

will be watching with a keen eye tonight in the praccy match :)

Don't worry about him being rested

You cant let being rested for a week or two stop you from getting him

roti

I'd be more worried about your F4!

Robbie Gray is my F4.

I reckon he is in for a massive season and 100 average.

First pre season he has done in ages, looks super fit.

Lock him in.  8)

Last year he had NON SUB scores of 75, 40, 59, 65, 25 and 74 amongst others with a top score of a mere 124.

What makes you think he'll 'break out'?

Like I said above its his first pre season in ages so that will help him heaps.

He has all the talent in the world this bloke and is a class player.

Just have a good feeling that this is the year that the stars all align for him and he shows the footy world that he's finally arrived.

gray is a great player ... as a supercoach player he is irrelevant! so far on my never again list it is not funny ... craziness picking him

Gray and Pav are battling it out for a spot in my forward line at the moment actually.

Pav with the proven history and playing fir the best squad in the comp. If he can keep his body right I expect 95.

Gray is a similar predicament, if he stays fit I definitely feel he is capable of going 95+. Class player and has gone big before in a season.

i do not believe either will go 95 ... i am starting to consider pav though mainly because could be a safe pick .. dont expect big scores but just dont believe i will lose out on him
