Choose j.kennedy over Franklin cause of westcoast easy draw and choose swan cause every one has forgotten how much of a champ he is and people are choosing Ablett and pendles as first two I didn't want know carbon copy of everyone's team. I'm it to win the biscuits this year boys.

Backs are excellent. If Swallow does pick up then you will be laughing.

I personally prefer Mitchell as D1. I did however grow up in Hawthorn.

As mentioned Pendles is a must.

Richmond have a tough start so Cotchin not yet for me. Lions also a tough start but Rocky has a better bye  than Cotchin.

Martin losing favour and fair enough - he is soooo expensive.

I like the long term plan for your rucks.

Kennedy and Rohan can chuck in low scores I think.

Buddy with Tippett not 100% is just too hard to resist for me.

Just watch Caddy. Remember Karnezis?

Def:good unique pick in Shannon Hurn  can play both ends of the ground if needed.
Mids:Some good uniques here with Swan & Cotchin.But no Pendles is a suprise but you can't have both.
Rucks  Sandilands scored 91 in a losing effort yesterday. Grundy will improve.
Fwds: This line has depth only player i am not convinced about is Rohan.

Summary: The weakness in this team and it is a minor one is Pendles being excluded for Swan the reason being Kicking efficiency.
Apart from that the team isn't too bad. 8/10

Grundy is a risk in the ruck and not convinced about Caddy- neither will be in my side.

You should consider downgrading Caddy to a cheap rookie and upgrading Grundy to a premo ruck.

One of Martin/Wingard should become Buddy- save about 45k as well.

Than you can either go Swan to Pendles or Cotchin to Watson which will help your bye structure.

Rest is solid- keep an eye on the rookies in the NAB matches.

Like the mids - a unique combination and still strong

Fwds - I havent seen Wingard in many teams or Caddy

Just my 2 cents - Pendles is a must

There a very little chance that there will be enough el cheapo rookies to cover all those bench spots.

I think it is worth playing around with a few like Rohan, Kerstan, Billings, X Ellis, Dunstan, Polec, Aish, McDonald, KK etc on the pine and seeing what you can get on field.

Guys like Crouch, Curler, Fuller, Garlett all look like they have shaky JS.

Oh and get Pendles instead of Cotchin.
