Only concern I have is McEvoy.

What! No Martin at F2!!  ;)

Nice team with lots of upside and not all cookie cutterish like a lot.

Hey Doc, just wanted to try something different by not going Martin at F2 because i see too many teams that are quite similar. Also whats wrong with McEvoy?

Also what is cookie cuttersih?

Strong Defense- Would be weary picking Hanley though- will be tagged first at Brisbane.

POD in Steven- strong midfield

McEvoy is an interesting choice- not convinced by the NAB challenge match where he didn't overly dominate Brisbane's hopeless 2nd tier rucks but he has the ability to be have a 110+ avg year- personally I will not be starting with him but can concede he could be an excellent POD.

Not much wrong forward- Depends where you see Martin's average at the end of the year.

I get the Martin issue - just read your F2 thread so couldn't resist - I was born with a spoon in my mouth so can't help stirring.

McEvoy strikes me as a lumbering type who won't score as well as NicNat, Minson, Goldy, Cox and maybe even Kreuzer, Mummy, Leue or Sandi IMO.  Also for some reason he reminds me of Jacobs!!! Aaaaaarrrgghh.

Cookie cutter teams are the ones dished up time and time again for a rating that are so similar you can't remember if you've seen it before about a thousand or two thousand times and that don't need rating because there are a thousand or 2 that already have ratings.

Def:Only Concern is Hanley here the lions have a tough draw may want to look elsewhere
Mids:Can't go wrong here with Steven being the POD.
Rucks:Mcevoy will not score 105 or more points which is needed in each game so maybe you need to look elsewhere. If you want a POD go with Pyke or Mumford.
Fwds: may work out well  most teams have martin. So you have a POD Fwd Line .

Team has only minor weaknesses if you like it stick with it. give it a 7.5/10

NicNait will outscore Cox.

Other than that - I love it.

PS No Martin yet? Just try resisting until game on.  ;)
