getting back to this:

Currie or Thurlow for R4?
I'm think Currie will play more games, but Thurlow would average more

playing the standard premo-Sandi-Longer-rook ruckline

blues boy

I think you gotta go currie.

As you said he will play more games as i can see essendon letting ryder go solo with others pinch hitting.

I'd back Nankervis to play more games over those two man

Because he's a gun and will be Sydneys #2 come round 1. Thurlow will only play for the first few rounds (if at all) while Bellchambers is out. And Currie will be fighting with Majak for the slim chance of playing with Goldy.

Got to ask the Sydney question:
Parker vs Mitchell.

Parker for me
it may come back to bite me on the ass, but TMitch is VERY like Zorko (stat-wise) - and I just can't do it after last year

Titch because he's a Claremont boy :P he scored 40 points more in NAB 1, isn't that a solid indicator? Both had similar TOG stats

Guess I just see titch spending more time forward when the big mids come back

Would also say Parker, just. Has been groomed to take over Jude Bolton's spot, and he certainly has the tackling ferocity to do it. Titch is brilliant, I love the kid, will be better than O'Meara and will win a Brownlow sometime in his career. I can't make any links with Zorko though. Horse Longmire is not Spud Voss :P Plus this will be his third year in the Swans' squad. However I think he will spend a bit too much time as a high half-fwd in 2014 for my liking. So Parker then :)

Note how I didn't mention NAB stuff. NAB is dumb.

who was missing? Jack, Hanners, ROK, McVeigh and JPK all played

Artax

They weren't missing any mids really other than Jetta, who should play more forward anyway.

Mitch has been forcing his way into the guts with his form and with the rotations capped can see him resting in the pocket rather than on the bench. That being said can see the exact same stuff happening for Parker. Main difference is Parker handballs a touch more.

Love them both.

Just curious, but are you still backing Nankervis over Derickz?

I think the Longer as 3rd ruck is finished as an option now.

Thomas4025

Pav or Buddy?

If Buddy it means I have 3 Swans forwards.

I'm not, I'm thinking that last night's NAB only proved that Derickx is Sydney's R2
as for an R3, I'm tempted to make it Sandi (with HMac as R2) - it's a lot better option in RDT though, due to them being a lot cheaper
