Currently leaning towards Clancey after his red vestathon last year or Matt Shaw as a POD.

Pearce could be an astute pick, Still waiting to see dpp watts :o and swallow for around that price. Have an eye on terlich too but will proabably try and slot a cannon/hurn in at d4.

Thanks Aus, I should say that Hurn is currently D3. Don't go anywhere near Cannon - interrupted pre-season after doing his ankle and unlikely to make the start of the season.

Yeah cheers mate, was aware of cannon just didnt want to list hurn's name first :P. Had my eye on McKenzie before his injury though and still haven't heard any updated news on him.

If Grimes remains injury free then he will score a lot more than all of those options. I'm backing him in to remain injury free.

Grimes will average the most. but you'll be lucky to get 15-18 games out of him.

After watching that game, I'm now heavily leaning towards Swallow seeing how much midfield time he will get. Shaw reminds me of Duffield a few years ago when he was fantasy relevant floating around picking up possessions. Unfortunately he just butchers it too much to be SC relevant. Might be a good DT smokey if you are into that sort of game.

HotTiges

What's your thought on Aaron Mullet this season?

Swallow for mine also. I do like the way Shaw goes about and was going to say not sure how his SC scoring has gone in the past and whether he'd be relavent but Pokerface seems to have covered it. Still I like the look of the young fella, moves well.

@HotTiges - Really not keen on Mullet at all to be honest. His average last year was pumped by a couple of extreme outliers, but his median score was only 68. Not sure what his role will be either. But thats just me - he could well be released a bit with dal santo and mcdonald slated to play in defence.
@Woppa - Like alot of Suns, his scoring graph has increased nicely each year, averaging 12 disposals in 2011, 15 in 2012 and 19 last year with SC averages of 42, 59 and 73. His efficiency was 78% last year, so maybe he was dusting off some cobwebs tonight. Maybe i won't write him off yet.

Thanks for the info Pokerface, much obliged! Didn't realise he was scoring in the 70's, decent efficiency also..... Would definitely be a huge POD.

Swallow is still a wait and see for me. Hurley grabbed my attention tonight.Back in def where he played his junior footy and where he wants to be. Carlisle did all right up fwd so Bomber will probably keep that structure going and only swing them if things start breaking down. They both looked solid in their new roles tonight. Hurley for $375 might be worth more of a look.

Just went to see how he would look in my team, Shame he aint a Def :-[
