Hey Hoosie, have you considered making the time limit on the draft the standard 90 sec considering its a keeper league.
I will try to get my pre draft in order tonight if i have time but i can see myself rushing home wednesday and having to do it on the fly.

auscoyote - think 90 sec per pick will make the draft too long . 176 players have to be selected and even if each coach only averages 30 sec per pick the draft will take around 90 min. I believe 60 sec per pick is a good compromise.

Not sure.  I currently have two with the option of adding a third.  I'm assuming that as long as you have the option too "add another team" under switch teams you can add at least one more team.

Thanks, i contacted SC and they informed me that you can have up to 5 but when i go to create a new one it just takes me back to "OutOfLeftField" :(???
Mind you my PC and Inet connection has been flowering me about. Also not good when you are in a live draft ;D

I had the same problem auscoyote, i emailed SC Supprt and got this email :


In order to join another draft league you'll need to create another team. Once you've done that, you can easily switch between teams and leagues.


To create another team and join another draft league, please first click on the 'Switch Team' button found in the Pre-Draft page and then click on the 'Create New Team' link from the drop-down box that appears.

Once you've created your new team, you can create or join a new league as normal.

First of all Trindacut  - it is a keeper league and to a certain extent I was planning for the future. However, as others had mentioned the SC site has been stuffing up. During the draft my iPad seized up three times and each time I had to reset and log back in which seemed to take an eternity! By the time I sorted the problem out many of the good defenders and forwards had already been drafted. So decided to draft rookies for the remaining spots and give it a go as a keeper team. Contrary to what you have suggested in your post I believe my young players (McDonald,Scharenberg,Billings, Garlett, Kennedy -Harris, Impey, Aish, Salem, Dunstan and Sheed) will all play enough games this year to ensure that I retain them for next year.

I recognize that this is a keeper league, because I in fact drafted with a policy of going with predominantly younger upcoming players, not getting old blokes on their last few years. Some picks were inevitable, but for the most part, my players have a good 5 years ahead of them.

Your players have a good 5 years of development ahead of them.

Anywho, I appreciate that you had technical difficulties, but it was clear from the draft timer that you were making some selections, and I assumed (correctly) that you were there.
