Crows utility Ricky Henderson will have scans on a serious lower-leg injury sustained at training on Monday.

Henderson suffered the injury during a training session for the players, who didn't play in Adelaide's NAB Challenge win on Port Adelaide on Sunday.

A former rookie, Henderson has played 56 games for Adelaide. He emerged as a damaging running defender in late last season before a knee injury put a premature end to his year.

The Club will issue more information on the injury as it comes to hand.

I also had him mate. Might have to look at DSwallow now

Wonder if that opens up a spot for Luke Thompson in the backline?

Or possibly Sam Shaw/ Kyle Haritgan?

I think Sam Shaw would be the most likely to fill that spot. Hartigan and Thompson and more KPP where as Shaw is much more versatile like Henderson.

Was hoping Shaw. He's cheap, there's not many rookies and he only has to play till his bye.
