Looking for another POD for my MID...
currently stands as: Ablett; _______; Rockliff; Ziebell; Beams; J Martin; Michie; Sheed; Dunstan; Honeychurch
There are currently DPP links as well
Thoughts?

GoLions

Considered Sloane? I'd prefer him to those guys.

Sloane doesn't seem to handle a tag fantastically well... although in saying that neither does Boak. 2 of Sloanes last 3 games he was tagged and only managed 50's... i have looked at him though

GoLions

Would probably go with Griffen then

I don't know where you got that rom but Sloanes last 5 games last year were over 100 one was 180

Libba I reckon. Don't think u need another unique personally with ziebell in there.

Jobe probably over those options.
Can probably afford another rnd 10er.

AH! i have indeed made a mistake; i was looking at the Dream Team column.. that is rather embarrassing and i take back what i said about him. But structurally he doesn't fit my bye structure as well as others although with the way the rookies are travelling he could still find himself in the line up.... Cheers for pointing that one out

I really like Boak as a player but heres why i couldn't go with him...R9 bye,but in R8 he plays Freo and in R10 he plays Hawks,
not great cover for those two rounds, his finals run stands as...Sydney,GC,Carl,Freo which is average.
Port have a tougher draw this year and i think Boak could push 110 but i really see him staying in that 105-110 range and at 575k there are better options.

Jobe & Griff are better options imo, agree that Sloane could have a big year he has sat at 106 for 2 seasons now & plays every game.

Cotchin is the stand out at 575k.

Danzac

Until he proves he can't go round 1, Griffen.

Hawthorn generally don't tag, no reason why he won't score well against them

I wasn't suggesting a tagging issue vs the hawks lol...i was meaning if they get thumped.  ;)

Im going Libba. In and under so doesnt get tagged and is a genuine ball magnet, will see huge scores from him this year i think. Jobe would be my second option on that list. Sloan yet to prove he can shake a tag week in/week out and Boak lacking that A-grade consistency for me

In order of POD I think they would be Sloane>Boak>Libba>Griffen>Watson
In order of worth having I think they would be Griffen> Watson>Libba>Boak>Sloane

One of the bulldogs for me, Griffen will be more common but probably more bankable, Libba less common but more of a risk.

There's some easy assumptions to make here, the Doggies have an excellent draw but that doesn't necessarily equate to Griffen dominating, in fact it's the opposite. Griffen generally scores poorly against weak opposition while Libba is your classic flat track bully. I'd definitely pick Libba.
