Polec Vs Michie

Both priced at 172,600 and impressed in their first NAB games. Who is the better option?

Polec is deceiving as most of Ports best players aren`t playing so its too hard to tell if he will be just as good when they are playing a full squad.

Have to see where Polec plays when the rest of Port's mids are in, both looked very good though!

Viv for me. Bigger question would be Sheed or Polec.

Michie is an inside MID with (it seems) reasonable job security because Melbourne traded for him.
Polec has had attitude issues and is trying to enter quite a full midfield at Port.

Michie by far for me at this stage.

No room for both? Tough to split though. Viv probably has the better JS but I think Polec will become a much better footballer. If both are named round 1 I would definitely try and fit both in.

i think there is no contest between the 2 ... viv by a long way from what i saw today .. but need to see a better port side dressed up

Vic by a country mile! Roos went after him (along with Tyson, Vince and Cross) specifically to address the Dees midfield depth issues. I'm confident to suggest he will play most games if fit.
As for Polec he is trying to fit into an already fairly well established, albeit young, midfield group.

the worry with Polec i would think is looking at what happened with kane mitchell last season. kane is a great player and showed it in a number of games but become the number 1 vest over there at times it seemed and hurt alot of people
