It was a toss up between him and Dusty as a breakout contender last year. Dust broke out and Wright spudded up big time. Looked great today. Do you think he will did th. Vest this season and break out one year later than predicted?

LF

Main reason he was so crap last year was he was being used as a tagger.
If you could be guaranteed he wouldn`t tag then he probably be a good pick up.

shaker

Would like to see him play a stronger team in his next game little bit one sided today because of Ports outs

Completely agree with LF. If he wasn't used as a tagger, he would be scoring much better and more consistently throughout the season, and at his price would be hard to ignore. However if he does tag, he scores pretty badly.

Might be released with Vince moved on? maybe pass tagging duties onto a young guy.....who knows but he's a chance to go bang if the cards fall right

I think he will still be used as a tagger throughout the year. Today Port didn't have anyone tagable playing and the Crows were without Scott Thompson and Brad Crouch leaving Matty Wright to run around by himself in the midfield. And with Van Berlo out I think it spells more tagging for Wright.

If there was only the standard 44 players his supercoach score would've been 188! Pretty impressive but i agree, will continue to tag so what be touching.

Dayze

I'm not sure if sando really rates him.

Exactly mate. Not sure who else they can use as a tagger now

The only other one I can possibly think of who could tag is Sam Kerridge but I don't think he has a big enough tank to play midfield.

how about him now

He's not gonna tag In a nab challenge game. Expect his role to change come the season proper

No thanks, obviously wasn't going to be used as a tagger in a nab challenge match.

looks ok to me. lots of risk, but could pay off bigtime. are u a gambler?

Only 24 and in his fourth season only the coach knows plans for him if used as a tagger or not , who knows with Vince gone and Thomson nearing the end he may be set free only to tag occasionally , at his price there are worse picks than him being a round 8 bye is his biggest problem for me
