age old question ablett Vs pendlebury

This is the first go for the year. Have not even looked at byes.
Thinking I will swap out Pendlebury for Ablett, just for team balance and captians choice with beams in side.
my wish list is for grimes to have a injury free season. stevie J to not get reported.
not sure about sandilands but to cheap to leave out.
Would love any input on rookies

SJ is a lock if he is a forward but he ain't.

Would back Ablett Pendles (with double points for one of them each week) against any other combo all year long.

SJ plays as though he is a bit thick - which he probably isn't, I just couldn't rely on him for the whole year.

Last 2 years, averages by GAJ and Pendles against teams they play rounds 1 - 7 this year are

Pendles 128.4 - I'd take that for my captain as an average.

GAJ - 142.3!  :o  And that includes his 67 v Melbourne.

Start them both.

You also have to remember Cyril is suspended in round one.

Also not convinced about McEvoy- better cheaper options available i.e Lobbe/Ryder

Happy with my backs Martin the only one I'm not sure on read somewhere he was travelling well.

Mids. Round 8 bye hell but have gone with what I think are 4 of the top 5 mid come end of year in. Ablett, pendles, beams and Stevie j and hopefully trade my way thru the byes with a few upgrades.

Rucks. Sandi again a lock, but does make me nervous, bring the Ross Lyon factor. Was sold on mcevoy but not sure of his role at the hawks so went with kreuzer.

Forwards I know roiling is out but taking the gamble for round 1 and hopefully one of the rookie have a blinder and I get lucky.
