Have approx 8k left.
Clouds over Fasolo obviously, as well as the rookies. Hanley and Ablett i'm not 100% sold on, but the midfield seems much stronger with GAJ sitting there. At 480k I couldn't leave Buddy out, new team or not.

What do you think?

Like it a lot.

Swallow is interesting. He is no bargain and will really have to kill it to be worth keeping. Is he even the best in his family?

McVeigh, Thompson, Walker, Hodge, Taylor, Enright, Hibberd and a couple more will all be vying for top 8 - 10 defenders which means you have a lot of work to do if Swallow and Hurn don't up their output. Could work if one of them fire.

Why no KK? Everyman and his dog have him.

Like mids and rucks. Watch Thurlow as I can't see Ryder going it alone and Daniher was not good enough last year.

Forwards are your weakness. Having said that though, as good a line up as you can afford and I think forwards are less predictable this year.

Good luck.

Also, not many DPP's. Maybe Garlett in mids? Watch Honeychurch and if selected he could go in there too.

MC

Cheers mate.

- Haven't seen any of KK yet; will be keeping an eye open during the NAB. Rookies will change substantially when rd1 teams are released anyway.
- I played around with my team and swapped Mitchell and Hanley to McVeigh and Henderson - They both finished the year strongly and could up their averages this year, whereas I can only see Micthell providing similar or less than he did.
- I chucked Ben Brown in rucks when I was playing around with having Charlie Dixon in fwd line. Can swap him at will :)
- Swallow i'm not 100% sure on either, though I'm hoping that the extra mid time we've been promised, combined with an improving GCS side and a more mature D Swallow can translate into a points rise from him  ;)

Very similar team to me...
- I am also waiting to see Kade and save me some dosh on Swallow if he does real well.
- Let's me bring in Caddie/Fasolo
- Not sold on Hurn at all. Can you downgrade Laidler for a rookie and bring in Enright or someone in that region?

Do you think players like Dunstan and Kersten will get any game time this time around?

MC

Dunstan is almost guaranteed a spot in a very shaky St Kilda lineup which desperately needs some youth injected. All other rookies though are up in the air, and will be given a spot only if A. I am sure they will play early or B. they are named rd 1.

Hurn has been a proven 90+ SC scorer for a long time, and barring his vest last year averaged about 95. I can see him pulling that again quite comfortably given the eagles' easy draw.

Thanks for rating my team btw!   :D

Def: Pretty decent, not sure about swallow though. Like Hurn as a POD, is risky but could work in your favour.
Mid: Solid!
Ruck: is Nic Nat good to go for round 1?
Fwd: Not bad, maybe downgrade Fasolo to a rookie (i.e. L.Taylor) and upgrade Caddy with that money.

All in all, a pretty decent team, good luck :)

MC

Yeah no worries, thanks.

Any other thoguhts?
