Artax

I think Savage is a good pick, I have him in my side currently. The problem is he is a pricey m6 as he forces Daisy to m7 but I also don't think I could confidently have him at m5. Decisions decisions.

That must be one solid midfield if you have daisy at M7

I'm interested in people's thoughts is Bernie worth a go in 2014? Priced at just over 400k will go up in value also.

One of those blokes who will make a little bit of money say around 50K maybe but won't turn into a premo so not worth keeping come season end i reckon.

Good footballer but not sure if he is fantasy relevant
Completely agree with this. Will increase his average I think but only by a bit, not enough to make significant cash or become a premium

I think he will be similar to when Ebert moved to Port from WC, so pretty decent scores, but think there are better options out there for the same amount of risk.

Except that year Ebert was priced at like a 60? average
Yeh exactly. I'm hoping Savage can do an Ebert

I had Ebert his first year at Port, one of my all time fav DT selections. I will confidently say Savage is no Ebert.
Why not? They have almost the exact same stats and situations?
Ebert has way more talent than Savage that's why. Ebert was a former pick 13, Savage is a trier but just doesn't have the talent to find it 30 times or take 10 marks or lay 10 tackles regularly enough. BUT I did have someone bag all hell out of me for picking Ebert in his breakout year, his argument was based around him trying to tell me that Magner would score as much as Ebert! BAH!!!! No way Ebert will score enough to be a keeper etc etc. Was at least top ten that year if not higher for av alone and never missed a beat playing every game. So if you like Savage go for it.
I actually disagree sorry mate. Savage has just as much talent if not more than Ebert. He has just been held back by lack of opportunity and vests, just like Ebert was at WCE.

I'm thinking of dropping Rockcliff for the first few rounds and putting in Vince as i think with Stkilda's midfield at the moment decimated Vince will get leather poison in the first round and go BIG.

Vince has , StKilda , West Coast & GWS first 3 rounds easy 100 average.
Rockcliff - Hawthorn , Geelong & Gold Coast. Feel he will struggle the first 2 games and not average 100

This gives me enough money to upgrade F6 to Roughy to go boom in round 1.
Good call Bad Call ???

I don't know! Getting to close to the start and it's getting me too confused!!!! I keep looking at Rocky in my side and thinking he's the guy that could let me down.

I have Vince, the only thing that worries me is that he needs a lot of the ball to get to his 100. That said I think he has something to prove and will at least carve early.

Got Vince for round 1 :)

Or Nathan Jones maybe?

Barra17

Historically he has gone to Nathan Jones as does most taggers. But with the shake up of the new look midfield, who knows what would happen?

me

won't be tagged i don't think, but he seems to be the kind of player who needs a ton of disposals and goals just to barely ton up =/

Yep and with the free hit this week i'm backing him in to get heaps of the ball and ton it up. Along with Watts , Mitchie & Tyson.

Good luck all
