Jobe in for Ellis 10000% yes. Get the proven underpriced scorer in, makes your mids look a lot stronger
He's under-priced for what he is capable of but I wouldn't call him a proven scorer. Still he is more dt relevant than Murphy and Cotchin (like Jobe I also don't really class him as a proven scorer either until he averages 100+ again).

But having said that all three players mentioned are still more proven than Ellis, Libba etc. so Watson it is  :D Hopefully he can return to the same heights as his glory year, same goes for Cotchin  ;)

Fyfe is another potential candidate but I'll have to see how he plays first

Not gonna lie, both Tyson and Michie looked off pace. Talent is there but hope they improve in their next game or I'm staying away I think.

What makes you say that? Everything I've heard has been positive. Both scored well from limited TOG.

Stats aren't everything boys. Especially for kids trying to make their mark at a new club

It's not stats I asked you about, what was it that made you think they were off pace? I didn't watch the game so I can only go off other people's opinions and what I read.

Ah ok sorry mate. Yeh just looked slow with the ball and a bit fumbly. Tyson's disposal efficiency was around the 60% mark.
Obviously first game in a new club so can be expected

I wouldn't go Jobe, I've had him a few times mainly cos I think he is such a good player, but can tend to let you down in DT, would prefer him in supercoach.

Libba on the other hand is going to be a DT slut!  Will boost his average this year and be a bit more consistent and in a few years time he will take the top spot as lock-in captain!  8)  Libba, Scooter, Danger, Beams and Rocky will be our Swan, Ablett, Boyd and Stevie J lock in captains of the future....that's my call anyway.  ;)

hahaha Dangers already replaced Chapman

I think I'm going to take the punt on Libba over Jobe, Jobe had one fantastic season but you've summed him up perfectly for every other season. I think he'll only average 95-99, conversely Libba should go 101-107 maybe even more if he increases his already impressive ceiling

Libby will also entail risk which will make the season all the more engrossing because I've picked safe players for every position (excluding Rocky) so might as well add a 2nd to replace my original 2nd (B. Ellis)

hahaha it's tough  :P Scooter's price tag means he's a keeper but I'll get frustrated if someone who costs less outscores him (bound to happen as well) but I'll also be frustrated if I get a cheaper player and they only average 90-low 100's and Scooter soars. hahaha I guess it's just the highs and lows that make dreamteam so enjoyable hahahahaha The worst is picking between Redden & Rockliff (not this year though) or Stanton & Watson (always a big one, they cost around the same price, you pick one and hope they outscore the other) :)

that's easy, you pick Stanton till the byes, then punt him further than a sherrin and side him to Watson (about the time of Essendon's inevitable July/August decline)

That was my plan till I saw the Bombers early season fixtures! North, Hawthorn, Carlton and Freo!  Bit risky for some if not all mediocre games.  ???
