Accirding to sc Paige, it is becoming likely he won't be ready for Rd 1

Danzac

Superfooty are saying via twitter that Nic is "no certainty"

In a perfect world according to the Sabretooths,  Nicnat would start late,  Sandilands would fire up and their prices would match up so that a straight swap could be obtained. Going Lobbe and Sandi at this stage. Cheers.    :)

sounds good mate. I think I'll go something similar. Or Maric, Berger! Not sure

Ricochet

::) They're basing it on this article which came out today

Nic Nat no certainty for round one

But in it Simpson says...

"If he progresses like he has, he'll play round one. If he has a hiccup, he won't play."

It also states he's a good chance to play in the last NAB Cup match, no need to hit the panic stations just yet.

Jroo

#1 ruckman in the comp when fit, so might wait again like last year to pick him up when he drops in price.
Seriously considering a starting ruckline of Sand, Hickey/Longer/HMac/Hampson

Danzac

And D.Cox did say that Nic "is the number one ruck" if fit.

As am I, just so much uncertainty around the rucks this year. IMO Sandi is a must, Can't rely on a second year player and at 363k Grundy is no certainty to make you much coin. Sandi & HMac for me at the moment, the pick of Dixon isn't doing it for me, one decent season - and it must be said, he too missed a lot of games. No cover for Sandi HMac makes this my biggest risk of the season.

I did that, then he had groin issues and I almost cried

G'day Jroo8, that makes two of us having a good look at Hampson tonight. Cheers mate.   ;)

A Sandilands/H-mac combo could be the end of your season if it goes bad.
You would be looking a multiple trades to fix that and given their prices it could be a nightmare, personally i hope a lot of people roll the dice..less competition for me  ;)

all valid points, at least if you pick one, you can switch to the other if all turns sour. Going both is risky in the extreme.

This is why I'll be starting Mcevoy instead, don't line NicNats injuries.
