Def:Mitchell, Hanley, Birchall, R.Henderson, KK, McDonald-------Ashby, Fuller
Mid:Ablett, Pendlebury, Griffen, Cotchin, Beams, Jo.Kelly, Billings, Aish-------Dunston, Langdon
Ruc:NicNat, Sandilands---------Leslie, Brown
Fwd:Wingard, Roughead, Zorko, Walker, Rohan, D.Garlett-------Knight, Impey

$6k left over. Walker isn't set as of yet unless he looks set to play in rounds 1-3

Cheers in advance for any advice   :D

hellsg8

decent team would go cotchin to thomas and walker to danger

hawkboy80

v.strong mids, rohan & garlett the main concerns for me, rohan not a lge possession getter & garlett a probable vest wearer

westy501

decent team that will score well but its so similar to everyone elses teams on here... there are cheaper rookie options that should score just as well as the ones you've picked so you should downgrade and use the money elsewhere... I agree with hawkboy80 rohan and garlett arnt the best options out there... have a play around and have fun with it!

The Pelican

Defenders- Great backline. Nothing to fault. 9.5/10
Midfielders- Too strong. You should downgrade Cotch/Griffen for Savage/Thomas and trade Kelly for Martin. 8.5/10
Rucks- Solid 9/10
Forwards- You need one of Danger or Martin. I think take out Wingard. 8.5/10

35.5/40. Really good team just need to make a few changes

Made a couple of changes some due to injury.

Def: Mitchell, S.Thompson, Birchall, Hurn, KK, McDonald (Ashby, Fuller)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Griffen, Jack, Beams, Aish, Dunstan, Crouch (Langdon, Garlett)
Ruc: Naitanui, Sandilands (Leslie, Brown)
Fwd: Dangerfield, Wingard, Roughead, B.Matera, Kennedy-Harris, Impey (Kersten, Honeychurch)

$17,500 left over

*Rookies aren't set just going by who performs best in the NAB games

nick wilkesmann

looks pretty solid! not sure about maters though

rsawry23

By all accounts Matera is killing it. He's my risk for the year and with the potential of running through the midfield figured he may be worth it. But yeah I understand the doubts

Sweet, go with it then!

Latest team

Def: Mitchell, Birchall, Hurn, Otten, KK, McDonald (Fuller, Ashby)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, J.Selwood, Libba, Beams, Ellis, Dunstan, Crouch (Langdon, Garlett)
Ruc: Naitanui, Sandilands (Leslie, Brown)
Fwd: Dangerfield, Wingard, Roughead, Robinson, Rohan, Kennedy-Harris (Impey, Honeychurch)

$5,900

Took Otten because he has the ability to play at both ends and could potentially play the HBF left by Henderson's injury.
Went for a strong midfield simply because the first 5 I can see finishing in the top 10-15 overall in terms of points scored and won't lose much money. Selwood will be a POD as nobody will be wanting to splash that much cash on a midfield during the first part of the season.
Rucks I see as being a set and forget unless injuries occur.
Fwds are made up of midfielders except for Roughie. Robinson will get that 85-90 avg and I believe could be a unique. Rohan is a cash cow as are all rookies obviously but with GWS first up hopefully a score of 90+ could help get him ripe for trading out a little quicker than most.

Let me know what you think  :)

Team is pretty good but you need to make a change or two.

DEF - Alright, don't think Otten is too SC relevant. Might have the odd 100 but not very much. Lucky to avg 70 odd.Running 2 starting rookies could be dangerous especially with KK struggling slightly with injury.

MID - Nice line up. Nobody picking JSelwood due to overload of rd 8 BYE players ie. Ablett, Pendles, Swan, Beams, Ziebell, JMartin. Crouch I don't expect to play too much according to a few.Likewise Garlett.

RUCK - My setup except different rookies.

FWD - Nothing wrong with it but not liking Robinson pick. Has too many off games for my liking and he just generally annoys me haha..

overall it's a good looking side, but just an improvement or two.. least it's different!

Just a few there that worry me.

Main issue though is 4 ids from round 8. Just not worth it. Heaps of other options. Jelwood can wait until round 9.

Robbo - no way. He is a disaster area.

Rookies obviously need watching.

Good luck.

Cheers for the advice guys. Taken it on board and made the changes. Here's what I came up with;

Def: Mitchell, Birchall, Hurn, Broadbent, Hine, Ashby (Fuller, Langdon)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Libba, Fyfe, Beams, McDonald, Ellis, Dunstan (Crouch, Garlett)
Ruc: Naitanui, Sandilands (Leslie, Thurlow)
Fwd: Dangerfield, Wingard, Roughead, T.Mitchell, Rohan, Kennedy-Harris (Impey, Taylor)

$3,600

Broadbent hasn't missed a game the last 2 years and can play midfield. Fyfe is definitely unders for a genuine premium. Hine could make an impact in his 4th year after playing 14 games last year. Only thing is the vest but with Daw potentially playing and other first years he might be right if he finds a spot in the seniors. Back up plan would be KK in DEF. This team only has 4 starting rookies.

Back line looks weird man.its different..Broadbean? Not sure I'd pick him..solid but won't get you breakout type scores I don't think.Hine's a tagged isn't he? I'd probably move MacDonald to the DEF too..rest of team looks good enough
