Sydney is the third most expensive city in the WORLD to live in. They have the COLA for a reason.

Wasn't being literal :), and i dont want to derail the thread about cola but it should be scrapped imo, otherwise WA clubs could start winging about travel expenses and longevity of footy careers as a reason for a bigger cap to pay they players more. Clubs are situated where ever they are in Aus and should just deal with the costs associated.

I cant argue with COLA - but think there is a decent arguement for Perth to get it as well.

The only benefit WA vs NSW is that the WA boys want to play in WA, but because NSW is still only 25 years in (and really only 10 well) they dont have the same depth of players to entice home
