Really interesting Swans team. Playing the 3 rucks competing for that second spot.  Will they play Reid in Defense or attack?

Looking forward to seeing Aliir Aliir (sneaky chance to play some time at FF), Nankervis who I think will spend most of his time at CHF, Harry Marsh a good WA boy and Dan Robinson, an exciting mid prospect.

As long as they all get through unscathed, that will be the best result. Winning is not relevant.

you think aliir will play ff rather than FB? wouldn't have thought he'd have much of an opportunity with buddy, goodes, tippett, reid all surely ahead of him as forwards.

I think that he will play some time up there in this game. He is in the team as a key defender, but with Richards, Grundy, Lockyer all also in the team, gives them a chance to throw him around. If you have see the vision, the most perfect comparison is Leo Barry, tall, flamboyant, loves to carry the ball. I would love to see him at FF. :P

Maybe more a wish than anything else.?  ;D

Well, goodes/ tippett out for the first 3-4 could give him a shot :P

pommyadam

so many players i'm looking at in this game

-how does Mumford do against his old side (and with Giles)
-who's the best 2nd ruckman for Sydney
-is Heater still effective at GWS?
-and rooks, SO many rooks

SydneyRox

That ruck question is the one everyone in fantasy land is dying to hear. Right now I would say Derickz by a whisker over Nank and Naismith close behind.

Looking at -

GWS -
Hampton, sneaky breakout chance.
Lamb, new club
Patton, returning from iniry
Shaw, new club, new role? Will he be tagged or will he be fed the ball by team mates?
Mumford, how will he go without a good midfield supporting him

Syd
Shaw, cheap returning from injury
McVeigh, lock him in?
Laidler, will he get game time come rnd 1? Almost locked if he makes the 22
Nankervis/dericks, ruck bench spot
Rohan, is he fit? Can he avoid the sub vest and be a good cash cow?
