I found this from the article on the AFL website:

QuoteTHERE will be no nursing Jack Martin through his first AFL season, with Gold Coast keen to play the teen sensation as often as possible.

Martin will play the Suns' first NAB Challenge match against Essendon on Monday night and will then be assessed on a game- by game basis.

Good news, I have him locked in atm.

I've got him locked to JR, have you given Ivan any consideration for your team ? Will be watching he and Hampson very closely during the NAB. Cheers mate.    :)

Ivan could be a good POD, but his groins do cause some concern.
However, apparently he's travelling well, http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-02-08/big-tiger-gets-some-relief
Hampson should help his scores, so I'll see how he goes later in the NAB, as he won't play early.

What do u class as a SOLE ruckman though? Every ruck has a chop out from someone - what % of ruck time would class as a sole ruck?

Goldstein.

Jack martin would want to average 85-90 atleast at his starting price for me to consider,as i've seen mentioned before should anything happen and he score a sub 50 score it will hurt his rolling average and you had better plan on keeping him around a while.
Good to read he will get plenty of games though (as long as his form holds up).
Watching his nab cup form closely.

I'm curious to see whose midfield time he's taking.
Prestia being hurt helps, but once he's back there's only so much to go around

My prediction is that I don't think he will be playing much midfield at all, but will be playing a high forward role.

I agree! And at that price to average 85-90 with occasional mid time is a fair stretch.

Would much rather Dom Tyson, few years in the system and a former #3 pick IMO
