BXV's Vacant Coaching Positions - Steins, Hoods and Werewolves

We now have 3 coaching vacancies in the British XV's competition.

Coaches are currently voting on which scoring system to use this year but from early preliminary results it will either be a continuation of last years Sportal scoring system or an average of DT and SC scoring. I can understand the uneasiness whilst we resolve the issues and with the season itself starting in a few weeks need to have the coaches in place to start and also with a final trading period coming up.

Process will be applications will be invited in this thread from applicants.  Coaches will then vote on the best applications and based on results the best application will have their choice of the three teams, second a choice of remaining teams with the third highest getting the last one available.

Applicants are asked to provide a resume of their involvement with competitions, involvement with FF boards and then select a best 15 from each of the teams and what do you see is needed in each team to make team competitive.

Finishing positions of teams after home and away season were Winchester Werewolves 1st, Nottingham Hoods 2nd and Staines Steins  13th so you can see you may be coaching a top ranked team depending on application. Bear in mind though that a trading period has taken place.

I'm a little tempted to apply... been reading up in BXVs for the past half hour or so. Shame about the scoring system not being done anymore. Just thinking out loud, I already record every SC score for every player, every week... maybe that SC/DT average thing could eventuate from that...

Anyway. I am legitimately tempted to apply to help the competition get it's numbers... but I'm always a Brewer first.  ;)

I`m online a fair bit so am available to put in to the team.
I`m pretty new to these kind of comps and have only been involved for a short time.

Overall its a pretty good team for stadium sport scoring system
Has good back depth and ok forward depth but lacks good depth in mids and rucks
I would work on bringing in some better ruck depth and some better mid depth as most of the players are not in their teams best 22.
Also think a really good forward is needed as there are some players on the list that are a little prone to injuries

This team lacks a really good forward and forward depth is not good either having a few injury prone players this forward line would struggle if any injuries occurred so i`d look at fixing this.

Overall this team is very solid has good depth on most lines and some good young players to come though.
Would probably look at getting some more forward depth as I feel that position has the weakest depth in regards to JS and if injury struck may struggle.

Torp wanted maximus as co-coach, but I think it would be better if max got his own team now considering there are 3 on offer. Rusty also keen, LF too.

I got a good idea. Disband Werewolves and Hoods and merge them with the Badgers then the Rams and Steins can have whats left :P

It would also only have 16 teams so it won't be emulating Worlds as much.
