Playing around with my team a bit this arvo i managed to have 201k left over and felt pretty happy with my side and thought where is there potential for money to be better spent.

I had Dale Thomas at m6 Xellis at m7 Dunstan at m8 (honeychurch garlett) @201k ... ablett but no pendles

Assuming Martin lives up to the hype in nab ... if he averages 80 for example surely who is a better option than thomas who I have pegged for 90average.

Am I understating thomas average? Would it be better picking Martin over thomas? Up thomas to a 540k mid? Or should I up Ellis or honey church to a shane savage and have him at m7..

opinions valued thanks guys

I reckon a 100% fit Thomas should go 90+

Thomas for sure but why not have both and get rid of one of your cheapies  i.e  Honeychurch        ::)

Surley you would rather have rookies generating cash on your bench though, unless you know something about honeychurch? :-X

jabroni

surely its going to depend if champion data have them in thier teams otherwise expect some not so reflective scoring :P

Ive got dunstan and garlett on my bench atm, but getting cold feet on garlett. Bennell might be a posibility for $123 but i dont know what his scoring will be like or what role he will play in def, if at all.

Hurry up Nab, having major footy withdraws :P

Until we see Martin in action at the top level there has to be some doubt however small Thomas for me but I'm sure things will become clearer as the NAB cup gets going

We havent seen Martin play yet so keep an eye on him, and whilst Thomas could average about 90, would be no surprise to see him go 100-105 which surely Martin cant do. Judd out early might help too, Murphy will still get the number 1 tag but Thomas will get a lot of mid time assuming he starts the season fit.

The bigger question is daisy at M6, that's a crazy strong midfield. I have daisy M4 and Martin M5.

Have daisy pushing high 90s. Martin hopefully 75-80 (big ask).

How are your other lines looking as I think both are worth it.

I think that's fairly standard for a lot of people here tbh... I've seen lots of midfields with Daisy M5. I am the same as Holz and my forward line is definitely where I'm going light...

With soo many good mid options I just can't push the likes of Martin out of my squad.

Yeh i've got Daisy at M5 as well. I thought having him at M4 was interesting as its less than what i've seen a lot of people go with, especially coming from someone such as Holz
