Masten 100 from just 3 quarters tonight :)

Takes me up to 1,560 with just Devon Smith to play. For the Thunder it was a bit hit and miss with Rosa impressive with 90, Yeo solid with 69, but Naismith disappointing with 39, taking them to 1,137 with 6 to play.

So that makes the equation Devon Smith + 423 vs Taylor, Caddy, Varcoe, Thurlow, Matt Jones + Josh Hunt. It can still be done for the Thunder, but they need their remaining players to play well. Hypothetically if Smith were to score 56 points that would give us a lead of 479, meaning Beijing would need to score 480 to progress (assuming I would go through if it were a tie), which averages out to 80 points per player. Thunders best chance obviously is if Smith pulls out, which would mean they would only need 71 per player to pick up the win...

#211
After Swans/Eagles

Semi-Finals

Sao Paulo (1560, Devon Smith to come) v Beijing (1137, Taylor, Caddy, Varcoe, M Jones, J Hunt, Thorlow to come)
Cairo (1178, Mumford, Giles and Dunston to come) v New Delhi (1197, Montagna, Duncan, Greene, Savage, Williams, Murdoch, Michie, Horlin-Smith, Bail, Palmer, Webster, McCarthy to come)

Pumas lead still points towards victory, but the Thunder aren't quite out of it yet.... You'd think big games from Taylor, Caddy and Varcoe and fail from Devon Smith is what is needed.

Cairo and New Delhi looks very close... But New Delhi just have too many players up there sleaves.

The smart money is on a Sao Paulo v New Delhi preseason Grand Final.

For positions 5 to 8

Cape Town (1464) v Tokyo (1015)
Toronto (1345) v Buenos Aires (1297)

For positions 9 to 12

Pacific (1395) v Moscow (1445)
Seoul (1035) v London (1256)

Bottom 6
New York 1550
Mexico City 1489
Wellington 1327

Ossie not that I would like you to be right, but I have Beijing's score at 1,137, not 1,094. Before last nights match my score was the same as yours at 939, so just wondering what scores you put in from last nights game? I have Rosa at 90, Yeo 69 and Naismith 39, which takes it to 1,137.

Ah, that was weird. Fixed - you see his average hasn't changed :/

What happened is I've been playing around with how the spreadsheet records scores, and was using Kreuzer as my example and his score of (43) was being recorded as a 'senior' score, while everyone as a 'reserve' score.

Easy fix.

Shouldn't have told you, now if I lose by less than 43 I will be annoyed... :-X

Just a question regarding the final since we are naming a normal team rather than getting every score. The Suns vs Pies match is this Sunday, whereas all the other games are next week, so is it going to be a rolling lockout type of thing or do we have to name a team by Sunday and then hope that those players play next week?

Is it too late to delist Harrison Marsh?

Can we trade him to somebody?

Pls, spare Cairo the agony.

Take buddy of my hands.

You're not having regrets are you Holz?  :P

Ah crap, didn't realise that!

I hate rolling lock outs :(

Will if have to, but prefer something like unlimited emergencies...

Nige

Half our squad was resting up for the season proper this round.

Good excuse.  :P

Could possibly do something like all Collingwood and Suns players locked in on Sunday. Then you name the rest of your team on Thursday with say 5 emergencies. All squads would be named by the Thursday so should work :)

Because pretty much our entire list is made up of  depth players for their respective AFL teams :P
