Have chopped and changed team but I really like the look of this one. Well balanced and enough CASH to upgrade McIntosh to Grundy depending who does better/Job security in Nab....Please rate....Same as some Rookies...

Backs: J. McVeigh, S. Mitchell, D. Swallow, M. Suckling, S. Docherty, L. McDonald--- J. Laidler, M. Fuller
Mids: GAJ, Pendls, J. Selwood, D. Beams, D. Thomas, J. Martin, J. Aish, V. Michie--- X. Ellis, L. Dunstan
Rucks: H. McIntosh, A. Sandilands---M. King, P. Mitchell
Forwds: Danger, Martin, Franklin, Pavlich, M. Clark, J. Billings--- L. Taylor, D. Garlett

Also I am not really worried about the byes as we play in a Cash league.

Looks good, just so risky with injury or age or scoring output; eg. McVeigh probably wont match his career best season, Swallow has not proven himself as a real scorer, suckling is coming off a long term injury, docherty has job security issues, D.Thomas has hardly played a game in 12months, X.Ellis is coming off a string of injuries, HMac and Sandi also struggling to get games due to fitness as well as age, M.Clark has been injured for 12months. I also believe Garlett will be used as a sub or struggle to get games, i may be wrong, just as the hawks already have Cyril and Bradley Hill and Isaac smith and a number of other sparky quick players who play in similar roles to Garlett.

I agree with dommycala.

On the flip side however

Thomas is such good value.

Suckling is such good value.

Sandi is such good value.

Swallow, HMac and Pav have such high ceilings.

This type of team could be a fun ride and being different from most we see here, could be flying if the majority of these type of picks come off.

Go for it.

Really good team mate - one of the better ones i have seen.

Only obvious risk is H. McIntosh/Sandilands in the ruck both being injury prone and no cover.

Pavlich is a nice POD and if he can find form could be a real bargain.  I would be a little worried about Clark actually stringing enough games together to make some dollars but if fit is a good pick.

McVeigh probably wont match his career best season
i wouldnt bet on him matching it but history says he will be in the top 6 defender averages by seasons end
2008     99.3
2009    98.6
2010    93.8
2011    93.8
2012    98.3
2013    106.1

thats 6 years of solid supercoach scoring how could you not start him especially when defeneders that average 100 can be so hard to come by

PK

your 4 Premium midfielders all share the same bye. Might want to re think that

Hi Boyz, thanx for the response.
PK- like I said I don't really worry about the byes as cash league win is what I really wanna win.
Dommycala_  I understand your points and are very valid but the more I think about the rookies this year the more I think job security is SOOOO important. That's why I have gone for players like Suckling, Hmac, Sandi, M. Clark, Swallow and Thomas. Supercoach is all about POD's and I will be taking a punt on these players keeping fit and making me at least some cash/potential keepers.
About Doherty- Malthouse said " Docherty and A. Everitt will be in the 22 come R1 if fit ".
McVeigh- Id be happy if he gets anywhere near 100 p/week, which I think he will do no problem.
I have enough cash to upgrade Hmac to Grundy depending who fires in NAB and will monitor Garlett's Job security.
