Bit boring

Hawks forward line still scary even with no Buddy

I know they're under-strength and it's pre-season, but this is how I see the whole Lions season going.
They've got HAW/GEEL/PORT/RICH/SYD in the first 7 rounds (along with GC + STK), they could easily be 1-6 or 0-7 after 7 rounds.

I couldn't pass up 13-1 for them to have most losses a couple of weeks ago

Master Q

Watched a bit but flicking between the cricket and the net.

Pretty boring game  :P Aish showing the goods I guess, Suckling has been a little quiet.

Yeah tough draw but put there whole midfield back in plus a lot of other key players they wont be that bad  ;)

When does this go from a leisurely run to work off the rust, to a mentally damaging loss?
You can say it's only pre-season, but these young kids are going to remember losing to Hawthorn by 150 for a long time

Nails

How is it going to be damaging at all?

It's a team with like 4 of our best 22.

A 150 point loss is really a win at the end of the day.

yeah, obviously the scoring differential is because of the lions resting most their team.

That being said, there's a pretty decent chance of it being a pretty scarring event for AFL debutants.

JBs-Hawks

Big losses creates bad culture. Just ask Mark Neeld :P

Ringo

Not worried when we only had 4 players on the park tonight who had played more than 50 games.  How many did the Hawks have.  And it was known that we would be resting star players but theyt will all be there for round 1 with a much tighter result.

Wonder what would have happened if the Hawks had this entire backline in:

Hodge Schoey Birchall
Gibson  Lake  Stratton

Justin Bieber

Lions would have thrived against the odds and kicked 10 goals a quarter for an enormous win ;)
