Omg Josh Bootsma got sacked. Surely I get to upgrade Miles??? Best thing Bootsma has ever done.

massive win for you there Lez ........ Bootsma was worthless anyway

So what's the ruling with players getting sacked? Surely that opens up a spot?

Haha in EXV, Miles is playing for me. In BXV, playing for KB.

AXV Miles is on the rookie list over Bootsma. :P

It's a rule that cause he was taken in the rookie draft, you have to put him on the rookie list. British and Euros are way less scrict.

Just thinking I hope Rampe hasnt been playing much for Turkey seeing as Stevenson isnt on the injury list for Port and has been playing reserves for the last 3 weeks.

He plays every week. This rule is stupid and needs fixing.

Sorry about taking a while to get back to this.

We don't have any rule that says you can put a sacked player on to the LTI, and this year we have already had a few cases of this, with me having Clark for instance. I definitely think a rule about this could come in at the end of the season though.

As for the Turkey case, I did not realise that Stevenson was off the injury list. I will go back and change scores to reflect Rampe no longer being available for selection.

The same will be done with Josh Bruce for the Vipers, as Allen Christensen came off his LTI 2 rounds ago.

I realise that I have missed these as I was only monitoring when players were returning to the AFL, and not returning to reserves football. I apologise for this, and I will make sure it doesn't happen again.

Justin Bieber

It's a terrible rule IMO. With Bootsma sacked, it's different to Clarke retiring IMO.

We're meant to mirror the AFL and has Melbourne and Carlton upgraded players in replacement?

punish the bottom team..,. barbies....  :P

anyway...  :)

reckon the rule should be changed to when the player comes back to play afl before we have to delist.

Might as well play Miles this week as I didn't get a justified answer and other teams have been playing their rookie listed players and may of changed results.

All teams that played rookie listed players (which only happened twice) have had their results changed.

We do not have a rule that says retired/delisted players mid-season can go on the LTI list, and no rule will be introduced now that you are in such a case. If such a rule needs to be implemented, and it probably will be, it will be done at the end of the season.

Justin Bieber

That's just shower.

LTI = chance of playing this year

Sacking = no chance

I understand that, and I tend to agree with you.

However, at the moment, it is only a Long Term Injury list, and we don't have a rule for what can happen with retired/delisted players. I have made it a general rule that no new rules will be introduced mid-season, and rules such as this require a vote at the end of the season.
