#121
Most Improved:

Winner: Shaun Hampson

Even though Hampson's average of 71.7 might not look like much on paper, Hammer has been a great addition to Suns' line up this year in the absence of Ivan Maric, taking over as the #1 big man. After struggling for games in recent years, Hampson played 20 games which is a career best and pumped out eight scores over 80 points.

Hammer beat other contenders Adam Cooney, James Sicily and Ryan Davis.

Best First Year Player:

Winner: Tom Papley

Papley started the season in style scoring tons in the first two games! However, his form faded away a little but he has shown he is part of the Swans best 22 going forward and has a promising career ahead. Papley played 16 games in his first season of football, with seven scores of 70+ a impressive return for the youngster.

Papley beat other contenders George Hewett, Jesse Palmer and Brandon White.

Coaches Award:

Winner: Daniel Wells

After only playing two games last year, everyone thought he was finished. Missing Brent Stanton and Harley Bennell from a Best XV all year we needed someone to step up. Enter Daniel Wells. He has come back into the side this year and has been awesome as a forward averaging 100ppg and has been a key to our success this year.

Wells beat other contenders Adam Cooney, Tom Rockliff and Kade Simpson.

Best Finals Player:

Winner: Brent Harvey

Even though it was a short final series to what we are usually used to, Brent Harvey seemed to keep his best to last. Although he enjoyed a solid year averaging 92.8 points overall, he dominated the finals series for the Suns to average nearly 120 points from his two games. This included a massive score of 150 points in what turns out will be his last WXVs game of his career...  :'(

2nd. Daniel Wells 232 Points, Average of 116
