#1 Stkilda

Hi everyone, how are we all doing? This is my team, i would appreciate any advice as i am in a payed league this year.

DEF: Mitchell, Hanley, Hurn, Henderson, Suckling, Fuller (Cutler, Battersby)
MID: GAJ, Watson, Barlow, Murphy, D. Beams, Daisy, Dunstan, Garlett (O'Rourke, Robertson)
RUC: Mcevoy, Sandilands (Thurlow, Nankervis)
FWD: Dangerfield, D. Martin, Franklin, Gunston, JKH, Impey (Honeychurch, Taylor)
            10k left.
I am attempting a strategy where i get no rookies over the 150k price. Realistically, will that strategy work or will i need to make room for the likes of: KK, Michie, Martin?

Bit risky with donut/vest candidates.  You may need 1-2 higher priced rookies (at least for your players on field) to avoid this.  Otherwise, I like the lineup.  50/50 on McEvoy, could be a great POD, or just average low 90's.  I toyed with the idea myself.  For the moment I looked elsewhere, but who knows come round 1.

Battersby is rookie listed, he can't play unless he is elevated to the senior list

I think Pendlebury & J. Martin are musts.  I'd suggest downgrading one of Murphy or Thomas too Martin which would allow you to go Watson or Barlow to Pendles.

I'm going to the opposite. I have 8 players between 150k and 260k. These players are simply going to get more game time IMO and despite their higher price they will not only deliver more price increase but they will probably deliver higher scores. Can't see Martin averaging under 70, but some unknowns like Fuller or Impey could average 20-30 over a bad few weeks.

It's definitely risky, I think the problem you are going to have is finding enough cheap rookies that are going to get consistent games. You have a lot of maybe players in there at the moment.
