If you have to have a little left over make sure it's for something specific e.g 44k for Michie >>> Tyson

what do i do with the spare cash

it can be a godsend to have 50-100k left over going into the season for corrective trades
but you don't want to hold back much or you'll be behind the 8ball from the get go.

I would save enough money to turn Honeychurch into someone like Rohan/Fasolo/Bock/Karnezis - waiting to see who gets named but I wouldn't count on him or Garlett getting a 1st round gig. Impey iffy as well, I think Kersten is the only forward rookie I'm confident should get in round 1. With whatever left over I would see who you can turn Birchall/Hendo into. Nothing wrong with them and Birchall may well improve his price after an off season lat year, but I don't think either will be top defenders so they'll cost you a trade later. If you can upgrade to a more likely keeper like Hanley/Simpson then I would do that...

If you were going with the 2 cheapo ruck strategy I would keep some cash but otherwise put it on the field
