I reckon all these guys will average at least 115 this year.

I will most likely end up with two or three of these guys in my side at the end of the season but will be starting with just one of them.

At this stage I am leaning towards Jack Steven with the Saints excellent early season draw. I am a little bit worried about him being tagged now that Dal Santo has gone but he is that quick that he should be able to burn the taggers off.

I am looking at these guys for 3 reasons.

1. They fit my bye structure perfectly
2. They are around 100k cheaper than Pendlebury and could easily average just as much as him leading up to the byes
3. By choosing one of these players over Pendlebury I can make my backline a lot stronger

*Please note that Pendlebury will be coming into my side at the start of round 9. He and Ablett will be the two best SC scorers this year in my opinion.

Speculator

I voted for Watson but I reckon rockliff could give it a shake.

Ricochet

Rocky has a toughish run but he will dominate back in the midfield. He'd be my pick.

Stevens/ Barlow

I'll never understand why people continue to say Stevens. you never hear people say Pendleburys or Cotchins?

Steven.

not having a go at you mate it's just one thing that really annoys me!

if it was Koby Stevens I'd understand

Bully

Sounds like a few are dropping off the Pendlebury bandwagon, surprising really. A bad day for Pendles is a 90 odd, and it happens once in a blue moon.

It's only for 7 rounds though and if you pick an alternative that averages the same or better over the first 7 rounds then you are saving yourself 100k which can be spent improving other areas.

That's presuming Pendles starts slowly, based on last year's scores and this year's fixtures here's the prognosis -

Freo - 96
Carl - 121, 154
Haw - 110, 124
Rich - 105
Freo - 96
Ess - 105, 136
Saints - 161

Average = 120 (also taking into account Freo twice)

Based on this I would say a 100k discount would be unlikely.

Sabretooth Tigers

 :)
Out of those Watson, and why not keep 90k over in case Pendles starts killing it.   Cheers.           ;)
