Shocking shot from de Kock. Elgars wasn't great either but I think the ball was there for that shot, not so with smith.


Very lifeless pitch, South Africa may have missed a trick in not selecting robin Peterson given the great job Lyon has done so far and the fact that Aussies will be batting last. At least we've got a contest on our hands. I think those two late wickets put us slightly ahead because I don't back their tails chances of surviving long against Johnno. Would be nice to get AB out early though.

Elgar is a disgraceful batsmen.. Numerous times almost got bowed leaving.. If there was even the slightest of anything in the pitch he wouldnt of made double figures..

Also this curator should stick to mowing his own front lawns. Because he has done a dismal job at preparing this pitch. Even the South African commentators were ripping shreds into the pitch..
