Over rates have been shower for years - The worst thing the administrators did was to extend half an hour an day to allow the number of overs to be caught up.  Biggest issue is there seems to be discussions with bowlers after every ball bowled which is *bleep*.  As soon as teams are hit with hefty fines for not bowling overs the better,

For you younger guys who do not remember we used to have eight ball overs and were consistently getting 85/100 overs per day even at 85 that is the equivalent of an extra 140 balls over the 90 6 ball overs.  So do not say it is not possible.  We would see the bowler bowl the ball and immediately start walking back to his mark none of the *bleep* that goes on today.  And for the record Wes Hall run up used to Start near the sight screen at the Gabba so you can not use the excuse that bowlers run ups are longer.

As you can see I hate the slow over rtaes with a pssion and rant over.

Back to the test think SA may have fired up the Aussie bowlers by saying our attack is still second rate. Go Mitch and co and rip the heart out today.

Yeah, you are spot on Ringo!! They should be able to get it done by 5.30 no problems at all! Stricter fines need to be put in place for slow over rates.
