As we all knew this will be a real test for us and SA Class already showing. Will be interesting to Australian bowlers on this pitch and see if they perform the same.

The Shaun Marsh over Phil Hughes pick is one of the most questionable selections I have ever seen. Just what merit is he being picked on?

Not going to say he won't perform, he'll probably make a ton and make me look like an idiot but there is nothing that points to him being better than Hughesy... Average of 31 in first-class this season smh

2/50 from the first hour. Hopefully Marsh and Doolan can take us through to lunch.

Marsh looks solid, at least he is in some form.

Doolan has made a good start, but all throughout his career he has made starts and then gotten out. Hopefully he can go on here.

That's a ripping catch, but again Doolan has got in and got out like he has too many times in his FC career.

Still, not the worst first Test innings I suppose.
