ADEZ I'm not sure who you mean. By the sounds of it, it's someone who has moved club recently but the only players I can see there that haven't been covered are guys that I wouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole.

Good luck with him though.

OR a new coach 8)
he's had a niggle or two this preseason though

I didn't think of that :)

Must be Mr Zac Dawson then? Playing under his old coach again and enjoying himself :P  lol

I'll take it as a positive that he is hard to find

Pretty sure ADEZs smokie is Clancee Pearce, but don't quite know about the unsubbed stat

wouldn't have considered him before, but is in the running for that D4 spot (contending with Swallow, Grimes, Hansen, and others)

Pearce hasn't had a change of coach though so pretty sure its not him.

Hansen is close to a lock for me, no chance on Grimes again this year and Swallow is slightly behind Hansen for me, but its hard to keep Swallow out of your team.  Either way I look it it, you can't have Swallow, Hansen and Suckling in your team, one of them has to go and Suckling is too cheap to pass up.

Players who have had a change of coach/new team:

Colin Sylvia
Paul Chapman (change of coach from previous season)
Bernie Vince
Daniel Cross
West Coast mids

Prob left a few out...

You got it!
Was de-listed by Freo at end of 2011 I believe. In comes Lyon and he was redrafted and has come on in leaps and bounds since. He's a surprisingly good scorer

I guess I could have made it clearer, those 35 games are since he has been under the new coach (Lyon)

Ah! Not enough prior info to make the call!  ;)

Clancee tempts, but never delivers.  Not consistent enough for me!

not enough prior info???
was made AFTER the sole defender article had been put up (ie not a mid, ruck or forward)
told that he was priced under 400k (so would've been close to it, no point in making it Suckling, FAR too much room for error)
35 games unsubbed under a new coach (so possibly a change of clubs/coach made pre-2012)
I also got it while browsing your team in the RDT realDT, given that you had around 20k spare (pricing him around 390-395k)

my concern with him is that all of his vests are red ones
so it means that he's often injury prone (which by reading Monty's comments, he is) or lacks the fitness to complete games
but Freo's rookies playing may impact this, with them being subbed off instead
tempting, but looks slightly too injury prone for my liking (but seem just to be niggles, rather than missing multiple games, he's averaged 20 games over the last 2 seasons, and looks like Lyon rates him too

Yes he does tend to get small niggles and does fade out of games out times. Sure he is a risk but one that I am worth taking over Swallow/Vlas etc. PLUS, I hate having cookie cutter teams! Need some uniqueness which has served me well in the past

Ah! I actually only skimmed through the first few posts and had assumed Pearce had been changed to a mid anyway, obviosuly not, and obviously completely off my radar!

Let's keep it that way  ::)

Ricochet

Be wary of Pearce ADEZ. His new role was a lot more defensive than 2012. He was an absolute ball magnet as a kid but I would expect more of the same as 2013 rather than his breakout in 2012.

I was considering Armstrong myself.

He didn't have the worst game, but I'd need to see him step it up in Collingwood's next match for me to seriously consider putting him in my side.
