Matty Boyd that is.  Is anyone considering him?  Last year he missed a heap of games and was poor by his own lofty standards, but still managed a 103 average.  The three years prior to that we went 115, 116 and 115 so those numbers put him up with the elites like Swan and GAJ.  Do we think he can get back to his best this year, or is he simply getting on too much in age?

pommyadam

will be monitoring NAB, but can't see him ahead of the likes of Rocky/Jack/Stanton/Boak who are all priced under him

nrich102

An upgrade target if he can get back to the average he was at

ScreechRoo

libba slowly taking his numbers away

Toga

I think I read something about him taking on more negating roles or something so I'll steer clear to start the season but might jump on later if he finds some form!

Windigo

Boyd is still a class player and warrants respect. Could easily sneak into many teams if he starts carving up early in the season.

Barra17

He is sitting in mine at the moment ;)

Dudge

Would'nt right him off, got the runs on the board, even though he's getting older admmittedly

Just quietly, his spiritual brother - Dan Cross - might be one to watch during preseason. From all reports he tore it up during the Dees' intraclub - racked up touches all across the ground.

What will that mean for Wallis then? He smashed it as a run with player in 2nd half of 2013.

me

smoke and mirrors lads, no way he will tag this year, wallis/picken will be doing that

fertalong

He is an upgrade for me if he can return to previous form.
I think he is starting to taper off and will only score in the low 100's, which doesn't offer as much value compared to guys like watson, cotchin and beams (who will definitely score higher) who are priced cheaper and should score about the same.

SydneyRox

Yeah, not this year for me. Even as an upgrade.

Adamant

Watch him smash it in the NAB game and see how everyone reacts. :P

Wouldn't be the worst option as a POD imo but obviously there are a lot of quality mid premos to choose from.
