Vacant Coaching Position - British xv's - Staines Steins

Due to work and private commitments the existing coach of the Steins Steins has relinquished control of this team. If required Tabs has signalled his intention to be an assistant coach to the succesful coach.

For those who may not know much about the competition we name 15 players each week from our swquad and three emergencies. British XV's is based on the Sportal scoring system and players receive the Sportal score. We are currently awaiting information from Sportal as to their competition for 2014.

For information the Steins finished in 13th position last year winning 6 matches.

I`m online a fair bit so am available to put in to the team.
I`m pretty new to these kind of comps and have only been involved for a short time.

Overall its a pretty good team for stadium sport scoring system
Has good back depth and ok forward depth but lacks good depth in mids and rucks
I would work on bringing in some better ruck depth and some better mid depth as most of the players are not in their teams best 22.
Also think a really good forward is needed as there are some players on the list that are a little prone to injuries

Well judging by the posts above this is a waste of time :P, however as I haven't had any previous involvements with XV teams I thought I should continue with my application as planned to get my name out there for when future coaching jobs may become available.

Proposed starting XV (based on Stadium Sports scoring)
Backs: Henderson, Spurr, Terlich, Grima
Mids:Jack (C), O'Keefe (VC), Hartlett (EVC), Mzungu
Ruck: Maric
Fwds: Tippett, Jenkins, Clark, Elliot
Utilities: Johannisen, Crowley
Emg: Jetta, Mohr, Stanley

Backs aren't too bad and there is some potential in the forwards if Clark and Bock could stay injury free, if Hogan could match the hype and if Stanley was used as the second ruck for the Saints, there would be some good depth.

Maric is solid as No.1 ruck but there is no backup. The quality and depth of mids drops away pretty quickly after the first 3-4 and this would be the first area of focus in the next trade period.
