The Pelican

I have enough cash. So pick two of them

Nic Nat is a lock if fit. Then I'd pick Lobbe, I think he has plenty of upside.

Agreed. Stay away from Ryder people.
Cant believe nic nat is even a question for people if he is fit.
Scores over 140 in 25% of his games.
There really isn't another ruck capable of that.

i have picked hmac and sandi atm ... strongly strongly considering lobbe .. but have the cash ready and waiting if nic nat looks the goods

Ricochet

NicNat by a country mile. Not a fan of the Lobbe pick at all and Bellchambers will most likely be back inside the first month of footy so Ryder is now less appealing

Definitely Nic Nat. As with many coaches, there are injury concerns about him but sometimes we must take a risk ;) I'd go Lobbe then Ryder after that. You could even get Sandilands for a cheap pick up at ~380k.

Nic nat if fit mate, but ryder a close second. Lobbe too unproven for me, and awkwardly priced. Would rather Grundy's cheeper price to use as a stepping stone, then Lobbe.

Ryder, is a very interesting one. Everyone seems to think once belly is back he will be no 1. ruckman but I don't think this will be the case. I wont be surprised if Ryder spends a lot more time in the ruck this year. Belly kicked some bags in the fwd line last year while Ryder was very ordinary fwd.
Ryder had many great games when playing as the no 1 ruck, and is a better ruckman then belly. Ryder like Nic Nat adds speed to the mid field which both teams have a lack off.

But in saying all that Nic Nat is still worth the extra 30 odd k IF FIT.

With Bellchambers out, Ryder will be the No. 1 ruck for the 6-7 rounds. When Ryder has been the sole ruck his scores have been great with constant big scores. I'm looking at going Ryder until I'm sure Nic Nat is over injury concerns. Hopefully Ryders scores will go up enough to be a straight swap when Bellchambers gets back

I'm surprised so many people are considering lobbe. He's not for me but neither is Ryder.
