Stock Team - Needs help!

Hi FanFootians,

Like most here, as SC opened, I jumped at the chance to start building my 2014 team. My first build was near exactly as I plan to leave it before NAB Cup, but the more I look at it, it feels like the team is going to be far too similar to most.

This is my team so far:

DEF: J. Bartel, S. Mitchell, H. Shaw, M. Suckling, K. Kolodjashnij, L. McDonald (J. Tippett, M. Fuller)

MID: G. Ablett, S. Pendlebury, M. Murphy, D. Beams, D. Thomas, J. Martin, J. Aish, J. Polec (J. O'Rourke, M. Crouch)

RUC: N. Naitanui, H. McIntosh (D. Currie, T. Nankervis)

FWD: P. Dangerfield, D. Martin, J. Roughead,  L. Franklin, N. Bock, G. Rohan (D. Gartlett, J. Kennedy-Harris)

I feel it needs some solid left field choices, or risky breakouts that might push me into the top 1000 for once.

Any rates on current team or suggestions for other players would be greatly appreciated.

Hamish Mcintosh hasn't had a free run in years man, he was my favourite player at North but he hasn't strung together half a season in a long time.

If I gave you my left field choices, then...well.. they wouldn't be left field choices for long.  ;)

Maybe diversify your research.

Look at other sites and publications for inspiration.
